Atom Republic's Atom Universe on PS4

Hi, we wanted to share with you some footage of the Atom Universe game running on PS4! I know you all want to play it yourselves on PS4, but this will take several weeks to go through the submission and approval process with Sony. Until then, at least you can see that the game runs fine on the PS4



It may not be apparent on the video, but the only noticeable differences I can spot are; some textures look a bit more blurry and there are a few artifacts, but nothing we can't fix. But overall, it looks pretty similar to the PC version.

It's the newest thing in game-ware, Virtual Reality! 

(In this demo we are using an Oculus Rift virtual reality headset, just one brand currently available). As we showed you a few days ago, we plan to have Virtual Reality available for users in Atom Universe. Are you interested in Virtual Reality? Will you use a VR headset?

I'd like to point out the system requirements for a typical application built with Unreal Engine 4:

Recommended Hardware 
Running/Developing with the Engine Processor - Quad-core Intel or AMD, 2.5 GHz or faster 
Memory -  8 GB RAM 
Video Card  -   NVIDIA GeForce 470 GTX or AMD Radeon 6870 HD series or higher

GUI (Graphical User Interface): Abbreviated GUI (pronounced GOO-ee). A program interface that takes advantage of the computer's graphics capabilities to make the program easier to use.

In Atom Universe, Graphical User Interface (GUI) is a way to interact with your avatar. One of the GUI in Atom Universe is the "Environment Interaction" icon, which allows you to apply context-sensitive interactions: sit on a bench, lean against a wall, etc...
